At South Shores Animal Hospital, our mission is to provide state-of-the-art care for all our patients. Recognizing the immense benefits of rehabilitation, Dr. Claus and his team decided to include Animal Rehabilitation as a core service during our recent renovations. This essential addition allows us to support not only our own patients but also pets referred from other hospitals. We are dedicated to helping your pet feel better and look forward to being a part of their recovery journey!
STEP 1: Get a Referral
Consult your veterinarian and have them send a referral form to us.
STEP 2: Schedule an Intake Exam
We'll contact you to set up the exam.
STEP 3: Intake Examination
We measure muscle mass, joint range, mobility, and perform neurological tests.
STEP 4: Receive a Custom Plan
Review results and discuss tailored plans and pricing.
STEP 5: Start Therapy
Schedule sessions and begin your pet's rehabilitation.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality care through individualized treatment plans tailored to your pet's specific needs. Each session addresses your pet's current issues and works towards the goals established during the initial evaluation. We assist pet owners with tools to make at-home life with a senior or injured pet easier. By working closely with your referring veterinarian and our in-house team, we ensure everyone involved in your pet's care stays informed about their progress.

Hila holds a certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner with a specialization in Pain Management from the University of Tennessee. With a deep commitment to your pet's well-being, Hila ensures that every animal receives compassionate and expert care.

Session Details
Each treatment session lasts 30-60 minutes and may include the following modalities:
